IDI names Walter Surface Technologies Industrial Supply Vertical Vendor of the Year

MONTREAL - Jan. 29, 2015 - PRLog -- Walter Surface Technologies proudly announces that IDI Independent Distributors Inc. has selected Walter as their Industrial Supply Vertical Vendor of the year for 2014!

The annual award ceremony took place on January 21^st, 2015 at the Eaton Chelsea hotel in Toronto, Ontario.

To determine the winner, IDI’s product committee first nominates their top 4 vendors. Then their 100 members are asked to fill out a detailed survey to rank each of the vendors on a number of criteria. Criteria include quality of the vendor program, quality of the customer service, quality of delivery, quality of the relationship, and overall value of the supplier.

“This year’s recipient Walter Surface Technologies richly deserved this award.” said John Morrison, Vice-President Supplier Relations at IDI. “Their outside sales work with our IDI distributor members and attention to these relationships at a senior management level made a difference in 2014”.

This is the third time that Walter Surface Technologies has received this award from IDI in the last 15 years.
