University College Cork selects Vulcan Solutions and Microsoft Dynamics CRM

GALWAY, Ireland - Jan. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Vulcan Solutions, a leading provider of Microsoft Solutions to Higher Education, has been chosen to implement Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Customer Relationship Management) at University College Cork (UCC).

Following a detailed procurement process, Vulcan Solutions was chosen as the solutions partner to assist UCC in deploying the Microsoft CRM platform and deliver solutions to a full range of business units across the campus. The multi-phased project, which has already commenced, will complete in 2016.

UCC intend to use Microsoft Dynamics CRM to provide a flexible, scalable cloud-based platform across the University and its subsidiaries, underpinning a renewed culture of service, and transforming communication between all University stakeholders.

"This is a strategically important project for UCC and demonstrates UCC’s commitment to enhancing the student experience." said Paul O'Donovan, UCC’s Academic Secretary. "Vulcan were chosen based on two key factors; their knowledge of the sector and their experience working with the Microsoft CRM platform," said Ger Culley, Director of IT at UCC.

UCC joins a growing number of Higher Educational Institutions, who are looking at Dynamics CRM as the solution to help drive the creation of leaner and more responsive organisations. "We are seeing large movement towards the cloud and this is particularly evident in the education space", said Microsoft’s Dynamics CRM Specialist James Finnegan.
