Tulsa Children’s Chorus Welcomes the African Children’s Choir!

TULSA, Okla. - Jan. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- The Tulsa Children’s Chorus is excited and honored to welcome the African Children’s Choir to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Celebrating their 30th anniversary, the African Children’s Choir will perform a joint concert with the Tulsa Children’s Chorus on Monday, February 2nd at 7:00 PM at Boston Avenue United Methodist Church.

The African Children’s Choir melts the hearts of audiences with their charming smiles, beautiful voices and lively African songs and dance! The Choir is made up of some of the neediest and most vulnerable children in Africa. Many have lost one or both parents, but they have not given up hope and have come to show the beauty, dignity and potential of each African child!

The African Children’s Choir has been working with Africa’s most vulnerable children for the past 30 years. The Choir’s mission is to raise awareness of the plight of Africa’s orphaned and abandoned children.

As the Tulsa Children’s Chorus has begun preparation for this very special occasion, we want to make sure that the community is well informed of this fantastic opportunity to see two culturally-diverse choirs collaborate through the demonstration of music’s passion. This event is free and open to the public.  For more information, visit www.africanchildrenschoir.com or www.tulsacchorus.org.
