Tulsa Children’s Chorus Welcomes New Artistic Director − Charlotte Blakely

TULSA, Okla. - Nov. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Tulsa Children’s Chorus (TCC) is excited to announce that Charlotte Blakely joined the organization as Artistic Director on October 23rd, 2015.

Blakely received her B.S in vocal music performance from Northeastern State University and has an extensive music education background. She currently serves as the choral director and drama teacher at Will Rogers Junior High School in Claremore, OK. She also serves as choral director, pianist and organist at First Presbyterian Church also in Claremore, OK.  In addition, she serves as a bassoonist for the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra, and a vocal soloist for the Tulsa Oratorio Chorus.

TCC believes that this change (and addition) to the program will not only strengthen the technical ability of its students but also strengthen the purpose to “ inspire a life-long love of all music” to all.
