Up-and-Coming, R&B Singer/Songwriter B. Sharp Debuts New Single, "If We Love"

ATLANTA - Jan. 1, 2015 - PRLog -- Up-and-coming R&B Singer/songwriter B. Sharp will officially release his lead debut single, "If We Love", off of his forthcoming album, "Especially Now" on January 1, 2015.  Sharp's upcoming CD is scheduled to be released in July 2015.

"This song came to me during an introspective moment.  I was thinking about the state of the world. The wars and the rumors of wars. The mean spirits everywhere, and the violence gripping this world and it breaks my heart. I actually remember a time when being kind was more important than being right and things just aren't that way anymore. The question for me was, how do I convey this emotion in a song," says Sharp. "This song is a call for action. It's ultimately a love song for humanity."  The song was produced by B. Sharp andBrandon A. Thomas. Musicians include Robert Galbreth-Keys; Christian Camp - Bass; Brandon A. Atlanta-based R&B artist B. Sharp got his start at age ten, writing songs and singing in the church choir.  Over the years, this savvy singer, songwriter and composer has written numerous songs and built a catalog of work that he is eager to share with the world.  Returning to his music career after a hiatus, B. Sharp is polished and ready to pursue his gift full-time.  His "Erotic Adventure" video released in 2011, and garnering over 15,400 hits on You Tube is but a glimpse of what is to come from this passionate artist.

Currently in the studio working on his debut album, "Especially Now", B.Sharp is scheduled to release his highly-anticipated album in July 2015.  "My fans can expect to be catapulted back to a place in time when music was music. They can expect a roller coaster of feelings from one track to the next. Sure, the album is about love, but several kinds of love; love of a significant other, love for a nation or a love for humanity," B. Sharp says.

People like Luther Vandross; I learned the importance of tone and delivery from him. Smokey Robinson and Lionel Richie taught me about writing and ethos.
