Magic Dream Recording Artist & Jazz Extraordinaire William Green Debuts New Single, "Trap Bop"

ATLANTA - Nov. 23, 2020 - PRLog -- International Recording Artist & Keyboardist William Green will release his third single, "Trap Bop", off his forthcoming album, "The Power In You", on November 23, 2020. Green's upcoming CD is scheduled to be released in February 2021. "Trap Bop" can be purchased at digital outlets worldwide.

"The meaning of "Trap Bop" comes from the two styles of music known as trap and bebop. The song, "Trap Bop" is a musical combination of trap hip hop music and jazz bebop. "Trap Bop" has the rhythmic elements of trap music which is a common beat in the hip hop genre and the rhythmic elements of bebop music which is a popular style of jazz music during the early 30's and 40's," says Green in a recent interview.

"My inspiration for the song, "Trap Bop" comes from my interaction with my son, Elon Green. My son thought that it would be a great idea to have a song that captures two different genres," says Green.

He added, "I hope that the listeners will enjoy hearing this song in hopes if they are not familiar with either style, they will have a better appreciation of both trap music and bebop. It is my hope that the listeners will appreciate hearing a fusion of these two styles of music so as to merge the generations of people from these two musical eras."

A full-time musician, composer, songwriter, producer and new radio personality, Green is passionate about his music, and he puts his heart and soul into his performances. He delivers funky, upbeat, soulful and contemporary jazz sounds.

Green's impressive artistry has afforded him the opportunity to write and produce five CDs: his debut CD, "Magic Dream" (2003), "Green Valley" (2006), "Music 4 Life" (2011), "Mind Rush" (2018) and forthcoming CD (2021) "The Power In You". The sophomore CD, "Green Valley", featured multi-Grammy, award-winning Jazz artist Boney James on the track, "Lakeshore Drive".
