The sky is no longer the limit!

KELOWNA, British Columbia - Nov. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Now that we can land probes on speeding meteors, what else is left to do?

Oddly enough, we have always struggled to invent a flying car! What was a dream created by producers of the 1960’s TV show The Jetsons is quickly becoming reality and two Western Canadians fly in to Calgary for a presentation on the subject on Thursday evening, which is being hosted by the Calgary Sports Car Club.

Mark Jennings-Bates is a well known Canadian adventurer who used to hail from Canmore, Alberta and now calls Kelowna home. Together with business partner, Andre Voskuil he will present “From The Ground Up” - a very unique story of how these two individuals are in the forefront of the flying car business in North America and are planning an audacious world’s first flight.

While Mark is used to the pressure of climbing high mountains, running ultramarathons, flying paragliders and driving fast cars and motorbikes, Andre specialises in high stress boardroom environments where he excels as a globally renowned alternative investment strategist.

Mark, who has twice won the Western Canada Open Class rally championship will be presenting stories on a few adventure mishaps and how he overcomes fear. Andre on the other hand will talk about how their “Jetson” inspired business opportunity is far more than a pipe dream.

“When Mark first told me a year ago that he was interested in a big record setting adventure and wanted to use a flying car, I chuckled. However, after a I did the research and met some of the leaders in the industry I stopped laughing and commenced one of the most exciting journeys of my life” says Voskuil.
