By: Speakeasy Art Gallery Boonton Arts' first project is a winter public art installation of wooden trees made from recycled building materials. The 28 trees are various styles and sizes and have been installed along Main Street Boonton. The project will be officially unveiled on Small Business Saturday. Boonton Arts invites the public to stay after the Boonton Holiday Fireman's parade this Small Business Saturday, take a stroll down Boonton's historic Main Street, see the trees, enjoy dinner at one of the fabulous restaurants, shop small at Main Street's unique retailers, and support their local community. Boonton Arts would like to thank the staff and students of John Hill Elementary School for their participation in this project! 9 of the trees were painted by the students, each grade level painting a tree 1st through 8th, and a very special tree “Elements” The trees will be available for purchase with all proceeds benefiting future Boonton Arts projects.
