BOONTON, N.J. - Nov. 23, 2014 - PRLog -- Introducing Boonton Arts, a newly formed non-profit organization! Boonton Arts was created by Boonton residents and business owners Kristy Brucale Jach and Paul Jach of Speakeasy Art Gallery and designer Michael Weinfeld. The team will be heading the organizations's first projects for the coming year. Beginning with a winter public art installation, resuming Dog Days of Summer for 2015 and a mural initiative. Boonton Arts plans to work alongside the community to improve the aesthetic of Boonton while respecting it's rich history.  Boonton Arts – Transforming Community Through Creativity!

Boonton Arts' first project is a winter public art installation of wooden trees made from recycled building materials. The 28 trees are various styles and sizes and have been installed along Main Street Boonton. The project will be officially unveiled on Small Business Saturday. Boonton Arts invites the public to stay after the Boonton Holiday Fireman's parade this Small Business Saturday, take a stroll down Boonton's historic Main Street, see the trees, enjoy dinner at one of the fabulous restaurants, shop small at Main Street's unique retailers, and support their local community.

Boonton Arts would like to thank the staff and students of John Hill Elementary School for their participation in this project! 9 of the trees were painted by the students, each grade level painting a tree 1st through 8th, and a very special tree “Elements” created by the John Hill School Art Club. Extra special thanks to John Hill School's amazing art teachers Lindsey Halliwell and Natasha Laderach, and Principal Judy Sorochynskyj.

The trees will be available for purchase with all proceeds benefiting future Boonton Arts projects. For purchasing inquiries please contact info@boontonarts.org or call 862-307-5919.
