Math consultant has unique solution for animals, kids and veterans

CHICAGO - Oct. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Chicago's Cynthia Bathurst Executive Director of  Safe Humane was a recent guest on  Max A Pooch's Awesome Animal Advocates.

The popular Pet Life Radio Network radio show  is in its second year and is hosted by Keith Sanderson past Chicago area resident, animal expert and advocate, and sidekick of Max A Pooch.

"Chicago is fortunate to have someone with the vision and passion of Cynthia Bathurst," says Sanderson who first met Bathurst when he was interviewing her for an article he was writing for Chicago Examiner. He says, "I was truly impressed how she and her colleagues are  able to create unique solutions to human and animal problems that create a synergy for good."

Safe Humane's mission is to create safe and humane communities by inspiring positive relationships between people and animals. The organization is  an alliance of non-traditional partners that recognize the connections between animal abuse and interpersonal violence and the benefits of the human-animal bond.

The programs under the organization's direction include Youth Leaders, Lifetime Bonds, Court Advocacy and Court Case Dogs and a new program VALOR which is an acronym for Veterans Advancing Lives Of Rescues.

During the half hour talk show Bathurst shared some interesting details about some of Safe Humane's programs. In addition she provided valuable information how those who are interested can volunteer to help Safe Humane, and what kind of volunteer positions they are looking to fill.
