Presentations need to be 60 minutes long, deadline for proposals is Friday, Sept. 12

ANAHEIM, Calif. - Aug. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Anaheim, Cali. — Aug. 25, 2014 — One of the most important aspects of any professional development event is to add to one’s knowledge base, and the Council of College and Military Educators’ (CCME) annual symposium is no different. To help the attendees leave Anaheim with greater knowledge in regards to “Innovative Pathways to Military Student Success” than with which they arrived, CCME is now accepting proposals for concurrent session presentations.

Those who are interested in submitting a proposal are asked to include:

• The title of the presentation (15 words maximum)

• Brief presenter bios (no more than 150 words)

• An abstract describing the presentation and key takeaways (75 words total)

• Description of the presentation

• 2-4 specific learning outcomes

Each presentation will last 60 minutes and will take place on one of two days during the symposium’s run. If you have any questions abo ut the concurrent sessions, please reach out to Jim Cronin via email at James.Cronin@umuc.edu. The deadline to submit your proposal is Friday, Sept. 12.

This year’s symposium is taking place Jan. 26-29 at the Anaheim Marriott. In addition to CCME’s usual focus on military and veteran students’ education, this year’s event investigates the innovation that not only enhances student success, but also the technology that allows for these advancing techniques.
