Tee Off for Volunteers of America of Los Angeles/Supportive Services for Veteran Families

ANAHEIM, Calif. - Sept. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- The Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) is hosting a golf tournament on Monday, Jan. 26. All proceeds raised will go to Volunteers of America of Los Angeles/Supportive Services for Veteran Families.

The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program is a Rapid-Rehousing/Homeless Prevention program that works towards securing permanent housing for Veteran/Veteran Families who are homeless or at “imminent” risk of becoming homeless.

The tournament kicks off at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at Black Gold Golf Club. The 2015 CCME Professional Development Symposium is just around the corner. It will be held January 26-29 at the Anaheim Marriott, Anaheim, CA.  This year's theme is: Innovative Pathways to Military Student Success.
