SEM Link launches its “Back to STEM” Semi-Annual Fundraising Campaign on August 4

OAKLAND, Calif. - July 31, 2014 - PRLog -- Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc. (SEM Link) is launching its "Back to STEM" Semi-Annual Fundraising Campaign beginning Monday, August 4 and ending Monday September 15. During the campaign, SEM Link is asking individuals to make their tax-deductible financial contribution of $10, $25, $50 to support our programs. These are the amounts we are requesting however, any amount given is appreciated and one step closer to allowing SEM Link to provide continual science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) exposure to youth across the country. We are also asking all of our supporters to share our social media posts about the work of our organization. Funds from this campaign will go to support SEM Link’s program activities that provide youth with opportunities to engage in hands-on STEM activities, explore STEM careers and learn about real-world applications of STEM in their classrooms. This campaign also serves to provide students with engaging extra-curricular STEM programs in their communities as well as through various online platforms.

One of the reasons we have been able to continue our work is through the dedicated financial support of parents and individuals. We are not only looking to expand our programs this year but to also expand the exposure of SEM Link to teachers, parents, students and individuals who would benefit from our organization. This year is just the start of many great things to come from SEM Link.
