The Wilbur Dubbed as One of the Top Theatres in World
The Wilbur in Boston, MA Makes #35 on Pollstar’s Mid-Year List of Top 100 Theatre Venues

The Wilbur was built in 1914 by the Shubert Brothers who named it for their friend and theatre manager A.L. Wilbur. Over its 100-year history, The Wilbur has hosted many pre-Broadway world premiers, among them "Our Town," "A Streetcar Named Desire," "The Miracle Worker," and "Long Day's Journey Into Night." International stars who have appeared on the stage include Marlon Brando, Ann Brancroft, Kirk Douglas, Patricia Neal, Charleton Heston, Montgomery Clift, Henry Fonda, Carol Channing and Jason Robards. Today The Wilbur boasts the best of the best in music and comedy including musical artists like Boyz II Men, Lauryn Hill, Lyle Lovett and Smokey Robinson, as well as comedians like Louis CK, Rosie O’Donnell, Aziz Ansari, Jim Belushi and Tracy Morgan.
