Young Men & Women Poised to Make History In “The 11Eleven11 Project™

LAS VEGAS - July 18, 2014 - PRLog -- --- July 21-August 8, 2014, Studio 11 Films will join forces with Nevada Partners Inc. (one of the largest workforce and youth development agencies in Las Vegas, NV) in support of President Obama’s “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative by providing aspiring filmmakers with an intensive training program. Studio 11 Films will introduce their revolutionary platform, “The 11Eleven11 Project™” to young men and women of color that have a desire to work behind the scenes. This intensive workshop series will provide them with an extensive curriculum, hands-on training and the industry professional mentorship needed to build successful careers in the film and television industry.

Being in its third season, “The 11Eleven11 Project™ is a unique program designed for the next generation of creative artists. “So many times our youth get looked over when the authentic talent they exemplify is looking us right in the face”, said Studio 11 Films CEO Sharon Tomlinson. “We recognize that, and want to fine tune it with proper training as well as the necessary tools and resources needed to become successful”.  Upon completion of the workshop, participants will also receive Production Assistant Certification from our partner organization, P.A.T.S. This will allow them the opportunity to be entered into a National Database of certified production assistants. The roster will be made available to production companies, producers, Unions, Guilds, and crewmembers.

“The 11Eleven11 Project™” aligns with the “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative that was created by President Obama to provide a way to essentially rebuild the value of the communities around the country; so that young people will have equal opportunities to stay on track and succeed. “I believe every child deserves the same chance as I did”, said President Obama while giving a speech about the initiative.
