GBA will host a Global Insurance track convening leading international insurance companies, employers, agents, travel assistance companies and others focused on global insurance and benefits. Rising consumer affluence and an aging population is predicted to increase demand for health insurance in the Asia-Pacific region in the next few years. Asians aged 65 and above – currently 10 percent of the regional population – are expected to double in the next 30 years and open up new opportunities for global insurers to introduce new products to consumers, according to a recent report by Ernst & Young[1]. The Global Benefits Association is building a network of top-tier internationally accredited hospitals for multinational employers and insurers to access while expanding across borders.
