PSK is hosting the first ever “Spar Date” on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, starting at 7:30 PM. th.
So how does Spar Date work? Upon arrival, all Spar Daters will sign-in and separate into two groups—the men and the women. There’
s a brief mixer with appetizers, and then the main event begins! Sensei Chip Perro will show the groups how to perform in a non-contact, sparring match. Then Spar Daters will face each other and square off against their dates, one person at a time, for two minutes. Spar Daters can take the basic moves and add their own flair. No verbal resumes, just the moves! Following the two-minute session, spar cards are exchanged, and the results will be matched-up, and emailed to everyone on Thursday, February 13th.
There’s no need to be a Karate expert to participate, all levels of experience from no karate training, to Grand Master, are welcome. Spar Date is a pre-Valentine's Day event! Ticket sales through Eventbrite, priced at $24.00.
