Introducing Motivating People Training Materials

Oct. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- We all understand the importance of having a motivated team. Yet, many people who are in a managerial position don’t do anything about it or even when they do, they pursue it with wrong strategies.

Unfortunately, people only consider whatever motivational system they experienced throughout their lives. They go on to use these old fashioned and usually ineffective motivational techniques on others and receive poor results. Some even conclude that it is not worth motivating people since it is too hard to influence them!

The problem here is the approach not the intention. In the past 30 years significant amount of research has been carried out on the nature of motivation and despite gaining solid results using a variety of studies, the guidelines are not as well-known as they should be.

This course intends to bring light to such research as well as established theories and best-practices on how to motivate people. The course is designed from the ground up to guide the delegates through many examples, cases studies, research background and theories to familiarise them with the topics in a memorable and entertaining way. The aim is to make the course effective in the long term so delegates can easily recall the examples and get inspired by them when they want to apply them to a given situation at work.

The “How to Motivate” course contains several exercises and group discussions where delegates get a chance to examine the concepts and also apply them to their work.
