BKD to Present Fall 2013 Forensics Institute Webinar Series

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Oct. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- SPRINGFIELD, MO. – BKD, LLP is pleased to announce the 2013 fall semester of BKD Forensics Institute, a complimentary webinar series developed specifically for attorneys, paralegals and business executives interested in learning about forensics-related issues.

The first course, “Effective Business Report Writing:  What They Didn’t Teach You in Business School,” will address common shortcomings in effective business report writing and how to overcome them. The course will be presented by Shauna Woody-Coussens, managing director in BKD’s Forensics & Valuation Services division.

“Surviving a Daubert Challenge:  How to Bulletproof Your Expert,” will discuss recent trends in Daubert challenges and discuss steps attorneys and financial experts can take to help increase their chances of surviving a challenge under the Daubert standards. The course will be presented by Rand Gambrell, director in BKD’s Forensics & Valuation Services division.

The final course, “Ethics Hotlines:  A Key Part of Your Risk Avoidance Strategy,” will discuss the benefits of ethics hotlines and how they can help protect your organization. The course will be presented by Jim Snyder, managing partner of BKD’s Forensics & Valuation Services division.
