By: Angel Ed Inc. The swing-themed launch party serves two purposes: to share the progress Angel Ed has made on their donation algorithm and crowdfunding platform, and to kick off their test on how mentorship and money combined impact higher-ed success. The party will bring together 100 thought leaders in higher-ed and innovation space including Space With a Soul CEO, Stas Gayasha, Meredith Sandiford of The Capitol Network, former Harvard Professor and founder of Risk Eraser LLC Marc Hauser, Executive Director of TUGG David Brown, SVP of Biz Dev for Xconomy Bill Ghormley, Founder of iStartup Janice Caillet, and the students Angel Ed serves. Angel Ed launched in January 2013 to help students ages 16-60 connect with new and existing scholarships, mentors, and hiring opportunities. Since May of 2013, it has been beta testing its crowdfunding platform with 100 students, 65 Academic Advisory Board mentors, and providing skill-set acquisition workshops. “We are thrilled to share Angel Ed with the public,” says co-founder Navah Fuchs. “Angel Ed represents a holistic solution to student debt by working to solve the amount of debt students need to take out to pursue higher-ed, the fiscal literacy and career readiness associated with higher-ed decisions, and the guidance to ensure the opportunity students receive yields the highest potential.” For more information, please email Navah Fuchs at navah@angel- About Angel Ed: Angel Ed Inc.
