Emily Parks to Teach Class on Developing a Business Emergency Response Plan

Productivity expert and business organization consultant Emily Parks will teach businesses how to create an emergency disaster response plan and kit. The national preparedness workshop will be on Thursday, September 26th.

RALEIGH, N.C. - Aug. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Emily Parks stated, “September is National Preparedness Month.  Is your business ready for any disaster or emergency it might face? Do you have an emergency preparedness checklist? Do you have emergency response procedures?”  Parks continued, “Whether due to computer viruses, fires, mass casualties, biological and chemical threats, radiation emergencies, terrorist attacks, earthquakes, tornados or other natural disasters, you could be at risk. However, practical emergency preparation enables you to successfully navigate your business when the unexpected occurs.  For example, you may have external hard drives for your computers, but what happens if there is a fire?  Do you have a cloud or offsite backup plan as well?  Do you have an emergency response kit for all of your employees?”

The emergency preparation and disaster response class will be held in the Training Room at Executive Office Suites in Lafayette Village in Raleigh.  Class begins at 10:00 AM and ends at noon.

In this September 26th Raleigh workshop, When Disaster Strikes, Will Your Business and Your Team Be Ready, Parks will cover multiple areas to insure you are ready when disaster strikes.  Much of what she will teach can easily be transformed to prepare your home and family.   In this disaster preparedness and emergency response plan class you will learn how to do the following:
·        Create a comprehensive disaster response plan

·        Learn items & information to include in an emergency response kit

·        Strategize how to maintain & update your plan & kit.

Parks will delve into more details such as preparing for gaps in communication, accessing important paperwork, and technology options to keep you up and running.  To learn more information and to register: http://org4success-preparedness-es2.eventbrite.com/?rank=1
