Campbell & Kennedy shortlisted for two prestigious SELECT awards

CLYDEBANK, Scotland - Aug. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- C&K have been shortlisted in two categories of the SELECT Electrotechnical Awards 2013, one for Best Environmental Project and another for Best Electrical Safety Project.

Select is Scotland’s trade association for the electrical industry, and is actively involved in representing the interests of members, improving industry standards, maintaining the high quality of work by member companies and providing training for those interested in becoming electricians.

For the entry for the Best Electrical Safety Project, C&K drew from a wide range of experience in the electrical contracting field to select a project that would best represent the high standard of work that C&K carry out. For the Best Environmental Project entry, C&K showcased a project which not only highlighted the company’s growth in the green energy market since the expansion of its service into this sector but also highlighted the environmental benefit to C&K’s client.

Since their expansion into the green energy, C&K have completed some of the largest solar PV and LED Lighting installations for social housing clients throughout the UK. The SELECT approved electrical contracting division have also worked with a number of main contractors, commercial clients and local authorities throughout the UK.  In addition, C&K has two other divisions which provide fire protection equipment installations and the company’s traditional aerial and satellite TV installation services.
