Codefore To Publish Book About 1960’s Cheesman Park And Rape

SAN DIEGO - Aug. 13, 2013 - PRLog -- 'In Cheesman Park' details life in the late 1960s and early ‘70s in near-east Denver, focusing on the free-love, drug and social culture in the Cheesman Park neighborhood of the Capitol Hill district. The book elaborates about the sexual attitudes of the era, culminating in an early-morning brutal rape by one of Hallock’s close friends.

Hallock, a Denver native and graduate of the University of Colorado,  is director of the School of Communication at Point Park University in Pittsburgh. Aformer newspaper writer and editor and author of three other books, he and his wife, Joanne, live in Mount Lebanon, a suburb of Pittsburgh.

“In Cheesman Park” is scheduled to be on book  shelves in early September and can be purchased at any bookstore.
