Follow on Google News | ![]() Multiple Sclerosis Foundation Honors Departing Board MemberDavid Squillacote, M.D. retires from Multiple Sclerosis Foundation
Dr. Squillacote trained as a neurologist at the University of Miami, and subsequently completed fellowships in both Clinical Multiple Sclerosis and Neurological Intensive Care. He began his association with the MSF in the early 1990's as a member of the MSF Healthcare Advisory Panel and later served as Senior Medical Advisor to the Foundation. In 2006, he was elected to the MSF Board of Directors. Dr. Squillacote has recently accepted the position of Executive Director, Clinical Development and Medical Affairs, with Acorda Therapeutics, a biotechnology company that develops products to help people with neurological issues, where he will be involved with activities related to products for people with multiple sclerosis and other disorders of the nervous system. President and Board Chair, Eric Schenck, expressed appreciation for Dr. Squillacote’ The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation is a leading service-based, non-profit organization. With national headquarters located at 6520 N. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the MSF serves the U.S. from a central location.
