| Happy People Sail - The Call Centre Enter The Mumbles Raft RaceCall Centre boss Nev Wilshire and seven members of his sales staff will be entering the 28th Annual Mumbles Lifeboat Crew Fun Raft Race on Sunday 21st July to raise money for Mumbles Lifeboat Station.
By: Save Britain Money In their trusty handmade raft aptly named ‘Mr Brightside C Sharp’ Nev Wilshire said of the event “It is going to be great. The team have been working hard with our friend Steve Porter from Breakout Adventure to build our raft which we are delighted to announce, actually floats.” “We plan to make a lot of noise on the day. If we don’t win, we will go down singing.” The Save Britain Money call centre recently featured in the successful 5 part BBC documentary – The Call Centre. Several of the main characters from the show will be either in the raft or onshore cheering the squad. Nev added “They will all be there. Dwayne and Twe will be in the raft and Hayley will be onshore cheering us on and hopefully making me a cuppa when it’s over.” “The team have been working hard to raise as much money as possible for the Mumbles Lifeboat RNLI and have had t-shirts made for the occasion sporting the wording Happy People Sail.” Nev did however have one disappointment “We were hoping to sell call centre t-shirts and mugs on the day of the event with all profits going to the Mumbles Lifeboat Crew Association, however Swansea council have refused to grant us a temporary trading licence, so it looks like that won’t be happening.” ENDS Notes for editor: · Save Britain Money is the parent company for five successful companies.
