KLAMPENBORG, Denmark - July 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Today’s markets are not conquered with excellent products, but with excellent business models. Any company has a business model, but they are certainly not all excellent.

The objective of the workshop “Business Model Management in the software industry” is to give software executives a toolbox for growing their companies systematically and achieving global leadership in their selected market segments.

“Since publishing the book “Business Model Generation” in 2010 Alexander Osterwalder has been setting the standards for what a business model is and what it takes to develop, document and test business models,” says Hans Peter Bech, CEO of TBK Consult. “Osterwalder’s Business Model framework is extremely lean and operational. It is designed to enable teams of people to execute based on a common perception of means and objectives. The software industry with invisible products and very narrow windows of opportunity can benefit tremendously from applying Osterwalder’s frameworks.”

However adding yellow stickers to a poster on the wall doesn’t change the world. The workshop will show how to turn the Business Model operational. The workshop will review the relationship between the Business Model and the traditional strategic concepts such as mission, vision, objectives, strategy, plans and values.

This workshop is designed exclusively for the B2B software industry. The cases and examples used are exclusively from the B2B software industry. Where Osterwalder’s Master Classes have 80-100 attendees from all walks of life, this workshop has a maximum of 20 attendees who are all operational executives from the B2B software industry.

The workshop will provide frameworks and tools, which the attendees can implement immediately after returning from the workshop.

Hans Peter Bech, who has more than 30 years of experience with global business development in the software industry, will facilitate the workshop, which is delivered by TBK Academy®.
