If they move a table from one spot to another, if they add one in or even remove one, they can tell what the implications are going to be on space and on revenue. They can also use this to decide where or what they are going to brand.” This is also useful for booking purposes. If a package includes a seat in a designated area and a car park space, both can be specifically chosen using OPTIMO. This gives the user the ability to see availability and even discuss the placement with the customer. Interactive charts are handy to make changes as well, e.g. if a customer wants to upsell from a table for four to a table for six the user can see what is available instantly and choose the correct location. It isn’t limited to staff members or event organisers either. Through the webshop (which OPTIMO can bespoke design) all interactive seating charts and table plans are also available for customers to use with ‘drag and drop’ functionality. Alex Alexander, Business Development Manager says, “The webshop gives customers more power over their event. They can use the seating charts to pick where they want to sit, car park layouts to choose where they will park their car, or even a table plan in a restaurant or at an event to decide where they will dine.” This activity is recorded and immediately updated into the centralised database, reducing duplication and increasing customer relations. Deen adds, “This gives clients the ability to be flexible without compromising on time or revenue spent.
