Dateline NBC interviews “the Unwritten Rules” star Aasha Davis

LOS ANGELES - June 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Lesley Herring, sister of Actress Aasha Davis, disappeared without a trace in February, 2009 and this Friday, June 7, 2013, Davis will appear on Dateline NBC, allowing the public to share in her family’s reaction to the conviction of her brother-in-law, Lyle Herring, for her sister’s murder.

Davis, who reported her sister missing on February 8, 2009, has diligently used every means available to her to bring attention to her sister’s disappearance, hoping for the best, yet fearing the worst.  When describing her initial reaction to the call from her sister’s boss alerting her that she [Lesley] had not reported to work in days, Davis says "My heart skipped a beat."

The sentencing of Lyle Herring brings a sense of closure to the family’s ordeal, allowing them to proceed in celebrating the life of Lesley Herring in a private memorial service; Herring’s body has never been found.

After more than four years of life without Lesley, Davis has no plans on “forgetting” her sister.  Her work as star of the hit web series, “the Unwritten Rules”, brainchild of Writer and Producer Kim Williams, ensures Davis a constant reminder of her sister’s influence in her career, life and thinking.

“the Unwritten Rules immediately made me laugh because it reminded me of stories that my sister would tell me about working in corporate offices.”   Davis also acknowledges that “…in the same turn it [the Unwritten Rules] made me nervous because it was exposing those types of stories I only felt comfortable enough to discuss with someone like my sister.”
