Actor Peter Parros Joins Thanksgiving dinner to help Boys & Girls Clubs of Venice's families in need

VENICE, Calif. - Nov. 14, 2016 - PRLog -- The Boys & Girls Clubs of Venice (BGCV) will be hosting its popular Thanksgiving Dinner celebration on Thursday, November 17th in the gym at the Club's main site on Lincoln Blvd. Held annually since 2010, the free celebration provides a traditional Thanksgiving meal to hundreds of Club members and their families, and this year, Actor Peter Parros of Tyler Perry's "The Haves and the Have Nots" is among the notable volunteers, lending a hand in the celebration!

"We are grateful to our sponsors and terrific volunteers who come out year after year to support our Club families," said Karen Papazian, Executive Director of the BGCV. "It's a great event that sends a message of hope and encouragement at a time of year when it's needed most."

Wanting to make a difference in the lives of area youth, Actor Peter Parros has dedicated many Saturdays joining BGCV youth sailing events and is excited to join this year's Thanksgiving celebration.

The celebration will be preceded by a turkey trot in the neighborhood at 3:30pm led by Club kids and culminates with a wholesome meal, along with other festivities starting at 5:30pm.
