Sean Barrett Named Secretary of French American Chamber of Commerce Dallas/Fort Worth

The Dallas/Fort Worth FACC, one of the largest chapters in the United States, serves as the area’s principal forum for French and American business leaders to meet and discuss common interests.

As an attorney for Wick Phillips, Barrett supports the firm’s growing corporate and finance practice (http://www.wickphillips.com/practices/corporate), and promotes business development within Dallas’ French-speaking business community. Barrett, who is bilingual in French and English, spent more than three years practicing law in the Paris office of a Magic Circle law firm, where he represented a diverse international client base in connection with a variety of cross-border transactional matters. While in France, Barrett also passed the Paris bar examination and became licensed as a French attorney.

Barrett received his B.A. in psychology with distinction from McGill University and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as Executive Editor for Development of the Georgetown International Environmental Law Review.  Bilingual since childhood, Barrett split his education between American and French schools in Dallas, Houston, Athens and Paris, and he is also proficient in Spanish and Greek.
