The True meaning of Business or Sale

April 11, 2013 - PRLog -- The True meaning of Business or Sale could be as simple or as complicated as one make's it and it depends entirely on how, when, where and what you see as the meaning of Business. So what does Business or Sale mean to you? Does it mean:

• Money
• 4P's
• Advertising
• Customers
• Sales
• A Funnel
• Neither of the above
• Or a combination of the above?

What if the True meaning of Business or Sale mean't HELP? Think about this for a few minutes, both the seller and the buyer are both seeking to "trade" so they both are seeking an exchange of service which = HELP. This is why customer 'service' sits at the heart of the word Business. It highlights the need on both parts of the seller and the buyer to SERVE one another and satisfy each others needs, wants and desires hopefully towards the end result of service and exchange into a sale or order.

A very interesting article that bravely highlighted the difficult and challenging online internet marketing and technological changes the world of advertising, marketing, journalism and media into new media are encountering today in the workplace. After reading the article I realized most business owners and enterprises have lost the true meaning of Business. Even when it comes to content writing, online marketing, advertising, sales or promotion the first thing anyone should consider is YOUR CUSTOMER or TARGET AUDIENCE.

Therefore, the fundamentals or 4p's of marketing are still relevant today! All that has changed is the 'way' you present or use keywords and content embedded into your 4p's of product, place, price and promotion. This is true whether you are writing content, direct mail, an email, blog, press release or other. If you are writing for the attention of your valuable customer or target audience then one MUST first research how, when, where and why THEY want it.

In today's Internet, Social, Web, Search Engine, Keyword world - the battle and problem for traditional ad agency, advertising and marketing elites is that people of the online world no longer use common grammatical, advertising language. They use millions of combination search engine words and phrases, which if ignored you potentially miss targeting or communicating your message effectively of your brand, product, service or offer to your target audience.

I can hear a deep cry of HELP! As most agencies, institutions and businesses of the world grapple to wrap their minds around a NEW vocabulary, web learning, marketing, technological and Internet world of Business. Lets try to simply and calm all nerves. The true meaning of Business has not changed, It is still and will always be quality of offer and SERVICE. Get those two fundamentals right and you will experience increased word-of-mouth, profit and sales. Get it wrong and you experience the reverse,

In closing, I can assure you most of the offline world of business practices are being eroded. Take a good look at your High St and read case studies of HMV, Woolworth's and even Auto manufacturers. Technology and World Wide Web is now the new media world. This simply means imminent CHANGE.
