Mariel Hemingway and Bobby Williams To Headline Sustainable Business Council Achievement Awards

LOS ANGELES - April 8, 2013 - PRLog -- The Sustainable Business Council (SBC) announces that Actor, Author, Entrepreneur and Eco-Activist Mariel Hemingway and her partner Bobby Williams will headline the Second Annual SBC Industry Achievement Awards to be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, from 7:00 – 9:30 p.m. PDT, at Lexus Santa Monica. The SBC, a non-profit organization which provides a professional networking and education forum for Southern California businesses and individuals working with sustainable products, services, and processes, hosts the annual awards event to recognize industry environmental leaders from the region.

A highlight of the event will include a keynote address and book signing of Running with Nature by Mariel Hemingway and her partner Bobby Williams.  For over 25 years, Mariel has pursued her passion for wellness, optimal living and educating the public about the same. She is considered a global thought leader in the area of holistic and balanced lifestyles.  “We are delighted to welcome Mariel Hemingway and Bobby Williams who are two of the most dedicated leaders embracing and educating the world about sustainable living,” said Becki Ueno, Principal, Sustainable Law Group and SBC Board of Directors Member.  Additional highlights include presentations of the lifetime achievement awards to Cisco Home and Bentley Prince Street, and organic delights from top local restaurants and cocktails by Real de Mexico Tequila.
