Follow on Google News | Siborg System’s Innovative LCR-meter Gained Worldwide Popularity with New DistributorsSmart Tweezers LCR-meter gains new distributors offering the device in over 27 countries. Siborg has established the first calibration facility for European users, launches multiple websites and begin developing a new model of the electronics tester.
Smart Tweezers innovative design combines a pair of precision tweezers, small display and LCR meter with fully automatic Resistance (R), Capacitance (C), and importantly, Inductance (L). The device automatically identifies the type of component and measure accordingly with just a touch of the tweezers' tips to a component. The newest model, the ST5, features component sorting, continuity and diode testing, and designated Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) measurements with a basic accuracy of 0.2%. The new distributors of Smart Tweezers all supply electronic components, tools, and consumables for the electronics industries. These new distributors include; Dipaul (Russia), PrinTec (Netherlands) "In all electronic production lines, Smart Tweezers LCR-meter comes in handy perfectly complementing powerful but sometimes hard to use bench-type electronic test equipment. Smart Tweezers LCR-meter is an extremely useful tool, allowing to verify results of optical inspection." "By the nature of our business we are in direct contact with many Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufactures and designers of new electronic products," says Yoshitaka Sato, the Director at Van Device Ltd., "They all value Smart Tweezers, the ultimate LCR-meter for Surface Mount Technology (SMT). Light-weight, ease-of-use and accuracy make Smart Tweezers an indispensable tool for PCB debugging and testing as well as component characterization." Siborg has begun development on a new model of the popular electronics tester, with help from the Institute of Automation and Electrometry at the Russian Academy of Sciences in Novosibirsk, Russia. The new model will still offer all the features that users have expected of Smart Tweezers, but will have a lower manufacturing cost. With help from Bokar International, Siborg has established the first calibration facility in Europe, at Production Solutions in Warsaw, Poland. The new location offers a closer location for European customers to send their devices for annual calibration. Previously there were only 3 facilities worldwide, in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, Pasadena, California and New Delhi, India. This was an issue for companies that require their equipment to be annually certified in order to remain ISO compliant, as sending the units away could be a costly and lengthy process. With a center for calibration at Production Solutions, users needn't resort to a third party calibration technique, which only proves accuracy without changing coefficients. This method does not prove that Smart Tweezers are working at their best. New websites have been launched that have been adapted for clients per region, such as China [http://www.smarttweezers.tw], USA [http://www.smarttweezers.us], Canada [http://www.smarttweezers.ca] and India [http://www.smarttweezers.in] For more information: Dr. Michael S.
