Exclaimer Updates Mail Disclaimers and Image Analyzer Products

Mail Disclaimers Now Supports Exchange 2013 and Image Analyzer Gets Enhanced Content Filter

March 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Exclaimer have announced two releases today: their Exchange signature software (http://www.prlog.org/pub/exclaimer.com/mail-disclaimers) Mail Disclaimers now includes support for Exchange 2013 (to accompany their Outlook signature software (http://www.prlog.org/pub/exclaimer.com/signature-manager)) and their Exchange content filtering software (http://www.prlog.org/pub/exclaimer.com/image-analyzer) has further improved accuracy and fewer false positives

"Mail Disclaimers now supports all versions of Exchange," said Brad Shepard, product manager, "supported customers can get help from Exclaimer Support on upgrading, by remote desktop, phone, email and VOIP."

Image Analyzer now has a further improved filter for detecting pornographic content attached to emails, resulting in even fewer false positives.

The content filtering software is used by a variety of organizations: schools and other  educational institutions protecting pupils from explicit content, public sector bodies and other agencies with a duty of care monitoring behaviour, and enterprise-level organizations preventing IT policy violations.

The software scans images for the colours and contours that often appear in sexually explicit content and if an image meets a certain risk rating, set by the administrator, it can quarantine, monitor or redirect the message accordingly. An organization could even have different policies in place for different departments: say students on a much stricter setting but maintenance staff on a looser policy.

"Image Analyzer detects pornographic content in email attachments, in multiple file types," Shepard continued, "in Word and all Office documents, in all common image file types and videos."

Both releases are now available to download from Exclaimer.com, which potential users can also try free and fully featured for 30 days.

"We are committed to keeping pace with new updates, features and products from Microsoft. When our users upgrade, we want to continue to offer the same high-quality solutions on all versions of the Microsoft products we work with," Andrew Millington, CEO at Exclaimer, explained.

Exclaimer explains that as Exchange 2013 use becomes more widespread, having this integration relatively early will pay dividends: SMEs and large, enterprise-level customers alike will have already been using it for some time.

Organizations that are new to Exchange may also have been waiting for the release of Exchange 2013, as Mr Shepard explained, "customers who have only been able to use our Outlook signature software can now get the benefits of our complete signature solution."

Exclaimer is also holding a demonstration of its whole email signature software range in its webinar 'Getting To Grips With Email Signature Software', where the products will be explained and demonstrated in detail.
