Hooleys Half Marathon’s Finish Line Festivities To Be Hosted By Lil’ Tommy

March 5, 2013 - PRLog -- San Diego’s East County, CA – RunEC announced that Little Tommy Sablan from the Jeff and Jer Showgram on KyXy 96.5 in San Diego will run and serve as Grand Marshall of the Hooley’s Half Marathon and 5k Run/Walk. For the community members who don’t run or walk, the Finish Line Festivities will be East County’s best St. Patrick’s Day party.

Thanks to sponsors, runners and guests will be treated to:

·        Live Bands

·        Breakfast from Sycuan

·        Cash Prizes for Best Costumes, Fastest Boys & Girls by division, and most participation by a school

·        A Diamond Dig raffle by Diamond Creations from Ramona

·        Other raffle prizes including spa gifts

·        Massage and beauty treatments

·        Bounce houses and entertainment for the kids

And of course, beer and Irish tacos at Hooleys on St. Patrick's Day!

Additionally a halfway breakfast and party will be hosted on the El Cajon Promenade so family members and the community can cheer on runners while listening to an Irish band and enjoying breakfast at local restaurants such as Downtown Café.

Other East County companies have donated generously to support the inaugural race, including imortgage as the Presenting Sponsor, Barona, California Bank & Trust and Sports Authority which hosts packet pick-up at Grossmont Center in La Mesa. AMR Ambulances and XL Staffing have donated critical services (medical and security) to support the race.

All net proceeds are designated for East County charities, specifically for 2013 St. Madeliene-Sophie’s Center, Home of Guiding Hands, Partnerships with Industry, the East County Transitional Living Center and Stoney’s Kids.
