Des Plaines, IL, February 12, 2013 – The American Academy of Medical Administrators (AAMA) announced details of its service line conference, scheduled for April 10-12, 2013, at Bally’s Las Vegas.  For the first time, three of AAMA’s specialty groups unite to present three days of cross-disciplinary education.  The “3-in-1” Conference features education tracks in cardiovascular, oncology and neuroscience administration, with over 30 sessions designed for service line leaders and administrators, six half-day seminars, combined keynote sessions, exhibit hall, and networking within and across specialties.

The educational sessions were developed by three of AAMA’s seven specialty Colleges: the American Colleges of Cardiovascular Administrators, of Oncology Administrators and of Neuroscience Administrators.  “They focus on strengthening professional skills, increasing knowledge in healthcare administration, improving service lines, and keeping current with the impact of new quality and regulatory requirements,” said AAMA Chairman, Linda Larin, FACCA, FACHE, Chief Administrative Officer of the University of Michigan Cardiovascular Center in Ann Arbor, MI.
