(DEI), has now introduced an easy and cost effective way to reduce road noise while protecting your vehicle against moisture buildup. Noise can interfere with the quality of your ride, especially in older modified street rods, hot rods. Lifted and modified trucks, convertibles, daily drivers – almost any vehicle can benefit from this easy to install product.
Boom Mat’s Heat Moldable Sound and Moisture Barrier can be cut to fit door panels, floor pans, fire walls, transmission tunnels, inner fender walls, rear quarter panels, behind back seats or placed on trunk floors. The applications are endless as it is easily moldable and conforms to the shape of any chassis.  Installation is a breeze. Simply cut to size and then use a heat gun to form a quick, seamless bond. The 1/16” super thin profile allows it to fit under the carpet to reduce road noise or in the firewall area to reduce exhaust noise. Works great behind door panels to perform as an all in one  moisture and sound barrier. As easily as it is applied, it can just as easily be removed when service or repairs are made.
