Lowestoft Chronicle Announces Nominations for the Pushcart Prize

In recognition of their excellent work, Lowestoft Chronicle has nominated six writers for the prestigious Pushcart Prize, the most honored literary project in America.
 
Nov. 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Lowestoft Chronicle has nominated the following works for inclusion in the anthology Pushcart Prize XXXVIII: Best of the Small Presses (2014 Edition): "On Seeing Frédéric Ten Years Later" by Jada Ach, "Pájaro Diablo" by Michael C. Keith, 
"Lion of Lucerne" by dl mattila, 
"Bloody Driving Gloves" by Hector S. Koburn, 
"Grotte de Niaux" by Barth Landor,
 and "These Are The Days" by Sharleen Jonsson.

All of these works were published between March 1, 2012 and December 1, 2012, and can be read in the archives at http://www.lowestoftchronicle.com/

About the Pushcart Prize:

Published every year since 1976, hundreds of presses and thousands of writers of short stories, poetry, and essays have been represented in The Pushcart Prize – Best of the Small Presses series, edited by Bill Henderson.

Little magazine and small book press editors (print or online) may make up to six nominations from their year's publications. Nominations are accepted until the December 1 (postmark) deadline, with official winners announced in May. If selected, their work will be published in Volume XXXVIII of The Pushcart Prize: Best of the Small Presses, which comes out in November. For more information visit http://www.pushcartprize.com/
