| Ice skating has returned to Swansea for Winter 2012!Ice skating has returned to Swansea's very own winter wonderland. With two ice rinks at Waterfront Winterland, there's plenty of room for kids to learn to skate on real ice!
By: Waterfront Winterland There's the main Admiral icerink, where there's plenty of room for an enjoyable outing on the ice, plus the Gower College NovICE rink for children. They can get their confidence on their very own ice rink before skating on the main rink if they like. Ice skating tickets are available now from Swansea Tourist Information Centre by calling 01792 637300 or call in to the skate house while the Waterfront Winterland ice skating sessions are in full swing. Ice skating tickets are also available online at http://www.swanseachristmas.com/ Waterfront Winterland isn't just about ice skating though: you can visit Santa in his Grotto, have fun on the fair rides and even brave the Chiquito Giant Wheel for a great view over Swansea and the bay. For spectators, there's a new cafe too, so you can settle down with a nice hot chocolate to warm up while you watch the ice skaters whizz by! Full information about all of Swansea's festive attractions can be found at www.swanseachristmas.com End
