New Padi Instructors on Gili Air

Nov. 2, 2012 - PRLog -- The last 12 days of the month were for the candidates of the PADI IDC not the easiest days of their life. During these day the candidates are trained to become a PADI instructor.

After the PADI Instructor development course (IDC) there is a 2 days examination, it is called the Padi Instructor Examination (IE). Padi send an examinor to an area to check if the candidates are ready to become a Padi Instructor.

At that moment the candidates dont learn something new but have to show the examiner what they already know and learned during the IDC. These are most of the time the most nervous breaking days for the candidates but also for the staff that helped the candidates during the IDC, like the Padi course directors and IDC staff instructors.

But after 2 days the final call was there, Dan, Florence, David and Paden became a Padi Open water scuba instructor!
