Apollo Hospital and Indus Health Tie Up for Affordable Health Packages

Its next geographical expansion would include Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka along with bigger cities Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai.

"Indus Health Plus has entered Gujarat through a tie-up with Apollo Hospital and intends to spread across Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot and Bhavnagar," said Amol Naikawadi, joint managing director, Indus Health Plus at a press meet held at Ahmedabad. Indus is in talks with a hospital for its next entry into Vadodara.

Indus's preventive health packages range between Rs 3000 to Rs 17000. A free health card is provided to the buyer to avail discounts ranging between 15% to 25% at hospitals for any treatment for any family members.

"Recent tax benefit for health check up (http://www.indushealthplus.com/) has also given an impetus to the business," adds Mr Naikawadi. In last three years, it has grown at 30% annually.

Since inception, the company enrolled 3. 4 lakh people for its preventive health check-up packages (http://www.indushealthplus.com/our-health-checkup-packages/). Last year, Indus turnover stood at Rs 95 crore. By the end of this fiscal year, the company expects to touch Rs 120 crore turnover.
