Several of the nation’s leading voices on water issues will be featured speakers at this year’s Central Park N.C. Annual Gatering on October 18, 2012 at the STARworks Center in Star, N.C. The event, called The Future of North Carolina’s Water, will feature an incredible list of guest speakers, including Michael Shuman, attorney, author, entrepreneur and leading expert on community economics and small businesses. As a promoter of local economy concepts and small businesses, Shuman will speak to the financial value of using water to the best advantage to the community. He serves as the director for research and development for the Business Alliance for Local Living Economics (BALLE), the director of research for Cutting Edge Capital, and a fellow of the Post Carbon Institute.
