Roseburg Forest Products selects Mid-Range as their go-to JD Edwards implementation partner

Aug. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Markham, ON – Mid-Range announced today that Roseburg, a leader in the manufacturing and marketing of a diverse line of wood products across North America, has selected Mid-Range as their Oracle JD Edwards Capital Asset Management (CAM) implementation partner.

Roseburg recently acquired a particleboard manufacturing and laminating facility in Louisiana that was previously owned by Flakeboard. This facility was leveraging an existing in-house solution to manage their assets but, as a result of the transition, needed to move off the existing technology.

Roseburg was already using JD Edwards and wanted to limit the diversity of the footprint so when the need for a new Asset Management solution became apparent they immediately looked to JD Edwards. After an initial analysis, Roseburg was pleasantly surprised to discover that JD Edwards Capital Asset Management rates very high in the industry. The JD Edwards Capital Asset Management tool fully integrates with JD Edwards and will give Roseburg enhanced visibility into financial and operational performance allowing them to maximize the return on their investment in physical assets.

Once completing several successful internal evaluations Roseburg decided to move ahead with their project which meant finding an implementation partner. Roseburg interviewed several implementation partners and finally selected Mid-Range.
