July 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Chicago IL... Keith Sanderson, Chicago area animal advocate and writer has created a petition at The peition   challenges Amazon CEO Jeffrey P Bezos to donate the profits derived from any sales of Michael Vick's autobiography 'Free Again,' to animal welfare charities.

"It's time corporations stopped making  profits from the past misdeeds of footballer and felon Michael Vick." Says Sanderson. "Vick was convicted on a plea bargain for bankrolling a dog fighting ring. Dog fighting is far more than the sadistic sport of pitting to dogs to fight sometimes to the death. It's about inhumane treatment of dogs from their birth through their death."

All anyone who wants to sign the petition to Jeffrey P Bezos has to do is to the visit the page and click the sign petition button.

The website provides the opportunity for visitors to start a petition, mobilize support and effect change. It is an ideal vehicle for individuals to create attention to things such as the book by Vick and corporations such as Amazon that will profit from the book.

According to Sanderson, "It's proven there is a relationship between inhumane treatment of animals and interpersonal violence. It's time we stopped making excuses for people who abuse animals and rewarding them with money."

Vick's book is slated for release in September. His promoters are banking on the fact his tarnished brand is so hot they can charge $99.95 for 7,777 autographed special edition books. The price for a regular edition of his book is $24.95.

Sanderson writes as the Chicago Animal Advocacy Examiner and is the sidekick of Max A Pooch the recycled dog that does what most people won't, he picks up litter and puts it in its place.
