The show on July 22, featuring the legacy of Philadelphia-based Cameo-Parkway Records – one of the top independent labels of the early 1960s – was postponed due to Internet server repairs. Classics by Chubby Checker, Bobby Rydell, Dee Dee Sharp, The Dovells, TheTymes, Sounds Orchestral, ? & The Mysterians, and more will be heard at a later date.

“Silhouettes” is the Cover of the Week, and we’ll count down the Top Ten for the week of July 23, 1966. In addition, there’s a tribute to Funk Brothers bassist Bob Babbitt and Deep Purple keyboard wizard Jon Lord.
