The instructor for all of the webinars is Andrei Kuznetsov, MA, the Director of Analytical Services at Primaris, a healthcare consulting business located in Columbia, MO. Mr. Kuznetsov’s involvement in the Core Measures data collection dates back to 1999 when The Joint Commission engaged four volunteer states, including Missouri, in its Core Measure Pilot. Ever since then, Mr. Kuznetsov has worked to ensure accuracy of the Core Measures data. Mr. Kuznetsov has trained over 300 hospital staff in Core Measures Abstraction. His expertise comes from the hands-on education to hospital staff and from analysis of the disagreements between hospitals and the external auditors. He issues a monthly summary of Q&A regarding the abstraction matters, based on questions submitted to him by hospital abstractors. He also ensures accuracy of medical record abstraction for Primaris’ private clients by re-abstracting records and providing feedback and education to the nurses who perform Core Measures Abstraction.
