First stop for the Chudbus “Summer of Love Tour”

June 12, 2012 - PRLog -- Sundial Venues have kick started the summer and taken to the road on the Chudbus “Summer of Love Tour” with its first stop at Venues Event Management in Swindon on Wednesday 6th June. The bright red vintage double-decker  routemaster, parked in the courtyard of the farm buildings where Venues Event Management base themselves, was set up and decorated for the booking agents in a 1960’s style, delivering an organic approach and served up a healthy, freshly prepared lunch for the whole team.

The Chudbus provided an environment for Sundial to showcase their three country house meeting venues; Highgate House in Northamptonshire, Woodside in Warwickshire and Barnett Hill in Surrey. This offered an opportunity for booking agents to sample Sundial hospitality for themselves. Tim Chudley, Managing Director of Sundial Group and Mia Butler, Chudbus Tour Guide gave a presentation designed to give the booking agents an introduction to Sundial Venues and its unique teambuilding solutions company, Sundial Teamscapes.

After the presentation, Sundial – owner operators of Surrey conference hotel, Barnett Hill, Northamptonshire meeting venue Highgate House and West Midlands conference hotel Woodside - then invited the whole team to try a selection of summer salads set out on the upper deck of the Chudbus and freshly marinated chicken, prepared “al-fresco” on the patio. The food was prepared by Sundial Venues’ own chefs with a selection of dishes from the lunchtime menus including healthy, fresh and nourishing dishes. The stunning looking salads were produced using fresh ingredients, free range eggs and all chicken is red tractor accredited.
The Summer of Love Tour presents agents with an insight into Sundial’s conference venues and services, showcasing its flexible and effective approach to meetings and events along with its green meetings package options.
