Cat Games for iPad fundraiser for animals.

June 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Big Monk Games is donating $0.25 for every purchase of Cat Games for iPad in the month of June, 2012 to Mohawk Hudson Humane Society of Albany, New York. Help make the donation a large one.

Cat Games is an iPad game designed specifically for cats and their owners. Version 1.5 released on June 1, 2012. Cat Games now includes 9 different games for owners and cats to play including a mouse, fish, spider, and string game and much more. Cat Games has received some very good reviews by press such as the Touch Arcade podcast episode number 14 "Kitty Korner" pick. Quotes include: "My cat loves the bug one.", "Who needs to buy a dollar string and ball toy?", and "I was super jazzed that my cat liked it and was entertained for a long while." Cat Games now allows owners to interact with their cat in the fish game by swiping the screen to have the fish follow their finger swipe. Big Monk Games researched colors that are within the cats spectrum of sight as well as did extensive testing stimulating movement. Cat Games is frequently ranked in the top 100- 200 in the iPad only Entertainment category of the App Store. Big Monk Games has partnered with Mohawk Hudson Humane Society of Albany NY to help  raise money for surrendered and homeless animals in the Albany NY area. Big Monk Games is a sponsor for the Paws in the Park fundraising event taking place at Siena College  in Loudonville NY on June 9, 2012. Registration begins at 9:00am, walk begins at 10:30am.
EVENT IS RAIN-OR-SHINE. CBS 6 News Anchor Marci Natale with her dogs Roxie and Sergio will be hosting the event. Proceeds support the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society’s animal care, adoption, humane education, spay/neuter and other programs for homeless, abandoned and abused animals in the Capital Region. The schedule includes a Zumba warm-up for pets and owners, a blessing of the animals, as well as an awards presentation. Food and games will be available for attendees. Flyers and business cards will be distributed to walkers to promote this fundraiser. Big Monk Games has chosen MHHS as it's primary charity of choice. We plan to continue to support MHHS well into the future with fundraisers involving Cat Games for iPad and future products that are released on multiple platforms. Mohawk Hudson Humane Society is a shelter for homeless animals in the Capital District of Albany NY. Pets are spayed and neutered before given for adoption. MHHS also offers dog training, lost pet services, safe haven, food pantry and disaster preparedness programs.
