| Estevan to Host First Junior MMA Match in SaskatchewanHard Knocks Fighting Championship Continues to Break New Ground in Mixed Martial Arts in Canada
By: Hard Knocks Fighting HK24 will make MMA history when two junior fighters will enter the cage in Saskatchewan's first junior MMA match. Christian Crowthers, 12-year-old son of Hard Knocks fighter Charmaine Tweet will fight 14 year-old Roark Franke out of Estevan. The junior MMA match will have modified amateur rules. "At Hard Knocks, we want to make sure that our fighters get a lot of experience under their belt and we're excited that we can provide this opportunity for these young fighters" says Ari Taub, CEO of Hard Knocks Fighting. To ensure the safety of the young fighters, they will follow modified rules. There will be three 2 minute rounds with a one minute rest in between. There will be no strikes to the head - either standing or from the ground. Ari Taub, Hard Knocks representatives, Derek Daku, Devon Smith, Christian Crowthers, Roark Franke, and the juniors parents are available for interviews either by phone or in-person.
