By: CGR Creative Press CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA- On May 17th, Community Building Initiative held a conference for Leaders Under 40. The attendees were an influential mix of leaders in the Charlotte Community that represented public, nonprofit, corporate, and faith sectors of the Charlotte community. The goal of this luncheon was to take a mix of young people, who are already inspired to get involved in the community, and get them to work together to create an even bigger impact. CBI believes that personal relationships are extremely important and vital. The next step after creating these relationships is honest and open communication. They believe that this is the way problems get most successfully solved. CBI’s mission is to enable civics’ most important conversations, and with the help of the Leaders Under 40, they believe they can create a more inclusive community all around. This luncheon was just one in a series of conferences. Each session is an important step is reaching CBI’s goal of community inclusion. Participants are given the chance to meet people from other professions that they normally wouldn’t cross paths with. Participants are able to exchange ideas and opinions in an open and honest conversation; CBI has partnered with CGR Creative to expand and improve their web presence. CGR Creative attended the Leaders Under 40 conference and took pictures, which can be viewed on CBI’s Facebook page. The President and CEO of CGR Creative, Julio Colmenares attended the first ever conference for Leaders Under 40. End
