BAM Outsource Excited as Queen’s Jubilee Concert Line-up Announced

May 1, 2012 - PRLog -- The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee is nearly upon us and direct sales and marketing company BAM Outsource have been keeping tabs on the host of events to take place in celebration of Queen Elizabeth’s 60 years on the throne. One of the most eagerly anticipated events is the concert to be held at Buckingham palace on June 4th. Some of the artists due to perform had already been announced but the latest line-up has got the team at BAM Outsource excited.

Among those now confirmed to perform are Sir Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Ed Sheeran, JLS, Robbie Williams, Sir Paul McCartney and Dame Shirley Bassey. One of the associates at BAM Outsource said, “Wow what an incredible line-up, this is really going to be a concert for everyone, there is some serious talent there.”

The concert is organised by X Factor favourite judge Gary Barlow who has said that the concert will be “a fantastic event which transcends multiple decades of music.” It will be shown live on BBC One and on BBC Radio 2 and the tickets are being allocated by random ballot. 10,000 will be awarded free tickets out of the 1.2 million people who are believed to have applied for them.

A spokesperson for BAM Outsource said, “We’re really looking forward to celebrating the Diamond Jubilee. 2012 is going to be an incredible year for Great Britain with these celebrations and then the Olympic Games. Hundreds of applications have been made to Peterborough City Council for street parties which shows that people all over the country are getting involved in the celebrations. This will be great for tourism and businesses throughout the UK as well.”

Other celebrations include the Thames River Pageant on Sunday 3rd of June, the Diamond Jubilee Festival in Battersea Park on the same day and a Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Tuesday 5th June. The late May bank holiday has been moved to Monday 4th June with an extra Jubilee bank holiday added on Tuesday 5th June.
